Official Press Release:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 20, 2013
Just like a lion about to pounce its prey, Wiyaala has unleashed a feisty new follow-up to her latest single, “Make Me Dance”. This new release, the Make Me Dance Remixes EP, features five tracks in nu-disco, disco house, breakbeat, drum & bass and trance genres.
Wiyaala’s debut international single was released last month, with critics saying that, “Once again Noella Wiyaala is setting the pace for the Ghanaian music industry”. Africa on the Blog has stated, “By far my favourite is her latest release, ‘Make Me Dance’; it is beautiful, the song gives me goose bumps” and “there is something seemingly naughty about her”. Well we all better watch out because things are going to get much naughtier when these remixes hit the dance floors.
The “Make Me Dance” Remix EP was mastered in the Paris-based La Source Mastering Studio. In the mastering world, La Source in Paris is by far the reference in France and is often mentioned alongside the top facilities in the UK & USA.
The remixes cover the whole range of EDM genres. Marej Deluxe and Juan Pacifico showcase the best of disco house, with Lada Sax joining Marej Deluxe’s remix performing live saxophone. L3x and Pio Beat bring a totally different dancefloor vibe with their drum & bass and breakbeat remixes. Merse closes the EP with yet another flavour, an atmospheric trance version of the single.
The Make Me Dance Remixes EP is released worldwide through Djimba World Records on December 9th.
